• Clipboard cleaning is back. We've re-implemented clipboard cleaning so CCleaner can clear your copied content again, just like it did before.

Helping you to keep your PC running fast and smooth

• Run dialog history now cleaned on Windows 11. CCleaner once again clears your Run dialog history on Windows 11.

Taking the hassle out of PC maintenance

• System tray icon now shows reliably. We fixed an issue where the CCleaner icon wouldn't appear in your system tray even when the option was enabled.

• Smoother first-time setup. New users no longer see overlapping onboarding screens during installation.

Enhancing our Software Updater

• Windows Update detection on ARM64 devices. Software Updater now correctly detects Windows Update patches on ARM64 PCs.

• Improved connectivity on older Windows. Driver Updater now connects reliably on Windows 7 and Windows 8 devices.

Simplifying the app

• Refreshed Settings layout. The General tab now has clearer section dividers, updated headings, and a new Reset button in Advanced Settings.

• Consistent date format. Dates across Driver Updater, Disk Analyzer, and Performance Optimizer now display in a clearer format.

Keeping you safe

• Accept button always reachable. We added scrollbar support so the Accept button is accessible at any Windows display scaling level.

Fixing bugs

• Fixed the three-dots menu overflowing into the table header in Startup Manager.

• Fixed text clipping in the Uninstaller column header for Russian users.

• Fixed column misalignment on the Health Check "Resolve Issues" page.

• Fixed untidy subscription list layout in Settings for RTL languages.

• Fixed checkbox labels in Disk Analyzer so clicking the label now toggles the checkbox.

• Fixed inconsistent icon alignment in Statistics view tiles for RTL languages.

• Fixed missing row indentation in the Driver Updater up-to-date list.

• Fixed Statistics page misalignment in German, French, Czech, and Danish.

• Fixed overlapping modals when skipping a driver in Driver Updater.

Changes in CCleaner for Mac v2.09 Build 187 (13 Oct 2023) :

The latest release of CCleaner for Mac introduces Quick Scan, the easiest way to scan your Mac for clutter without having to think where to start.

• You can now ‘Quick Scan’ your Mac for unnecessary application cache, log files, trash, downloads, large files, and development junk – and delete it to make room for what you really need.

• Quick Scan also helps you to clean your browser and delete records of your activity and personal info such as cookies, browsing history, or caches.

• We have also enhanced support for macOS Sonoma and resolved the issue that was preventing users from opening CCleaner from the Menu bar.
