Simplifying the app

• Manage your subscription from the app. The "Manage Subscription" button now opens your subscription portal directly, so you can review or update your plan without extra steps.

Fixing bugs

• Fixed an issue where CCleaner couldn't install or launch. The installer now correctly sets up the required WebView2 component on Windows 8.1, 10, and 11.

• Fixed incorrect Driver Updater status message. The results screen no longer says "Some drivers were updated" when all updates actually failed.

• Fixed apostrophe display in French and Catalan. The Custom Clean warning dialog now shows apostrophes correctly instead of displaying code characters.

• Fixed a rare issue where in-app messages could disappear. A timing issue could cause a new message to be incorrectly dismissed after a brief disconnection. This is now resolved.

• Faster in-app message delivery. We reordered an internal check so messages appear more quickly instead of waiting unnecessarily.

Changes in CCleaner for Mac v2.09 Build 187 (13 Oct 2023) :

The latest release of CCleaner for Mac introduces Quick Scan, the easiest way to scan your Mac for clutter without having to think where to start.

• You can now ‘Quick Scan’ your Mac for unnecessary application cache, log files, trash, downloads, large files, and development junk – and delete it to make room for what you really need.

• Quick Scan also helps you to clean your browser and delete records of your activity and personal info such as cookies, browsing history, or caches.

Patch update 2.9.187

• We have also enhanced support for macOS Sonoma and resolved the issue that was preventing users from opening CCleaner from the Menu bar.
